Which would you pick - A Gas or Electric Stove?

Doing some research, you'll find quite a few discrepancies about which people like better or think is better - a gas or electric stove. Stoves come in the types like Gas Vary with 5 Sealed Burners, Twin-Flame Stacked and PowerBoil Burner, 5.0 cu. ft. Self Clean PreciseAir Convection Oven, QuickSet Freestanding Smoothtop Electric Vary with 2.6 cu. ft. Manual Clean Oven, 4 Cooking Zones, Hot Surface Indicator Lightweight, Storage Drawer, Glass Oven Window and digital Clock/Timer... etc,etc..
When it boils down to it, I think you should chose one based on trying them both out and see which works best with your lifestyle and budget.

Gas or Electric Oven - Which is Better?

I've got a question. Which is better: a Gas or Electric oven. See the thing is that I love gas ovens, and cooktops. That's what we tend to used after I was a cook in restaurants, and hated going home to an electrical stove and oven and having to wait and wait. I've got a gas stove and oven within the kitchen. I like it for many things however I have a three car garage and I took over a bit of the counter space there. Having had both kinds of stoves in my life, the choice to me is pretty clear. Gas all the way. But for you, I think I'd give both a try and see which one works the best for your scenario, and which one provides the best cost savings given the area in which you live.

Which is More Expensive - Gas or Electric?

I'm often asked, "Joe, I've got to buy a new range, and am struggling with gas vs electric. Which one would you recommend? The struggle is primarily money. My best advise if you're looking at the financial side of things is to do research and find out which one (gas or electric) costs less in your area. The fact is that it can vary from city to city, and even state to state. And to compound this problem even further, it can vary from season to season. Do this research, and it'll become clear the choice you need to make for your area and your price concerns.

Ranges Reviews: Gas Ranges, Kitchen Stoves, Electrical Ranges

I analyzed and have compiled my reviews of ranges, identifying the electrical, gas and twin-fuel ranges that are popular amongst consumers these days. I've looked at these ranges over the course of several months by boiling water, simmering sauces, baking cookies and broiling food. The gas stove varies from one high-powered burner and one simmer burner, but no warming drawer, and reviews say the oven window is inconveniently small. Coil-prime electrical ranges are losing the recognition amongst consumers as well. By comparison, Hotpoint, Frigidaire and GE gas ranges have a median repair rate of less than 9 percent.

Should I Purchase a Gas or Electric Stove/Range?

Is it better to purchase a gas or electric range? Whether in the shape of a freestanding range, cooktop or built-in type, everyone wants a stove. Gas and electrical stoves are widely available. So the question is, what is best, a gas or electrical range? Is there huge distinction between the two? Equipment has finally brought gas and electric to surface for you and I, and with it, a decision. As with most home appliances, comparison searching and a data of accessible features are a
consumer's best friends when it comes to buying a stove. A gas or electrical range can provide much needed energy, but I think the choice between the two is dependent on whether or not gas is cheaper than electrical depends on the price of gas and electricity in your area. It varies widely from city to city, and even among states -- and even significantly throughout the year.
